Rare Earth - Get Ready

Get Ready, dos Rare Earth, é uma versão da música de Smokey Robinson, gravada em 1969. A banda queria lança-la em versão de single, mas a produtora rejeitou, tendo-a incluído no álbum com o mesmo nome. Mais tarde (1970) a banda decidiu lançar uma versão de estúdio que saiu em estrondo, contornando o fracasso do seu single anterior, Generation, Light Up the Sky.

Lately, the band decided to release the studio version, that was a success, making us forget the failure of the first single, 'Generation, Light Up the Sky.'
